Hello lovely people! It's been a while, I know. I'm very sorry. I can't even explain how hectic my life is right now with school and everything else that I have on! I wish wish wish I could blog more, but I just don't have much spare time right now. But anyway, here a some photos that my friend Blake Mcinnes took of me on a sunny day in the school holidays. Hello lovely readers,
After a lovely long break filled with sun and summer and friends and Australia I am back at school and back blogging. I have so many outfit posts to show you! I didn't plan on ignoring my blog over the summer holidays, but life just seemed to take over and I found myself reluctant to open my computer more often than not. Sanctuary

I've been asked quite a few times in the past to do a post on my room, I never did though because I always feel like it's too messy! However, I've been on holiday for a month now with a bit of spare time so I decided to give my room some attention. It's not a big room so it gets messy really easily which is quite frustrating, I love it though because it's like my own little homely sanctuary. I always have shoes and books on hand, and really, what else could I possibly need?

His two favorite things

This is me sitting on the back of Blair's new car, a '69 VW beetle. It's impossibly cute and so awkward to drive, so naturally I'm a disaster behind it's wheel. I'll get better with practice though, it's just a matter of getting used to no power steering and stiff gears.
I went on a small shopping trip on the weekend, so I have quite a few new ins to show you, including the things I'm wearing in the photo above. Seen as this is mostly a car post, I wont go into details on the outfit but I'll make sure to do an outfit post very soon.

Just a little post tonight.

I'm in the middle of my final exams so I can't put as much effort into blogging as I'd like to right now, but I'll be back up and running soon enough.
Here's some photos from last holidays when I was bored and decided to paint my nails! I used blue black and glittery polish and went a bit nuts. The skull in the first photo is a money box and the one I'm holding in the other photo is a candle which I bought for Blair last Christmas (speaking of which, it's only 35 days away! can you believe it?!)

Out with the old and in with the shoes.

As promised,here are a couple of my new ins. I got the shoes for my birthday back in October, they're Jeffrey Campbell Night Walks. The top was also for my birthday from Top shop.
There's been a lot of internet talk surrounding these shoes and how comfortable they are etc. They take a bit of getting used to but over all, they are definitely more comfortable than they look. It feels like you're just wearing really high wedges, and the cut out heel isn't noticeable at all. If you are thinking of buying them then definitely get them half a size smaller, it makes them feel a lot more secure when you walk.

Don't be what they're used to

Hello lovely readers. I've been super duper busy with exams and studying so my life hasn't been very exciting lately, just really stressful. I'll be very glad when the next 10 days are over! I have a couple of posts (including this one) which are actually from a couple of weeks ago but that I never go time to post. I'll put them up over the next few days.

Here's a video that Blair made of me last time we took photos. It's nothing special, we were just mucking around. I'm wearing the outfit from my 'before the dawn' post and also another outfit which I'm yet to post pictures of.
Today I'm wearing my yellow topshop coat, a floral dress and my white platform brogues. I'll try get a pic later. I'm also going out to dinner tonight with a few friends for Ashley's birthday so I'll take my camera.

Before the dawn

One more week closer to summer! Yipee!
This morning I helped Blair with some uni work and then we chilled out and sunbathed by his pool for quite a while which was so nice because the weather was amazing.
we went up to the top of a huge cliff this afternoon and watched the ocean until the sun was gone. It's such a reassuring feeling to realize how small you are and how insignificant your problems are compared to the world and the sea and the sky and everything else. I'm just so happy to be happy.

Woohoo I have photos again because my computer stopped hating me! Instead of catching up on heaps of posts, I'm just going to do one massive one.
Life has been so hectic lately because I'm back at school now and everyone's stressed out because exams are so soon. As soon as they're over, I promise to pay more attention to my poor blog.
Anyway, here's what you've been missing over the past few weeks..

Those photos are from a windy but lovely day at the beach in the middle of my holidays. I had just come up from blair's house and we were driving past and wanted to have a look. It was one of those days before the rain sets in where everything is grey and pretty and dramatic and damp and it makes you feel like the world is so big and powerful and In comparison you are nothing because the sky and the sea and everything in between are so amazing and real and beautiful and you are just a person whose life is so uncertain and insignificant compared to the entirety of the world you're in.
wow. Can you tell that it's 2.30 in the morning and I'm procrastinating writing an essay?

I love love love my new little bag which I bought from my work. It's so handy and cute. I spent this day relaxing and rejuvenating. Me and Blair got a massage at a spa in town and then had a nice lunch and watched a few dvds.
I'm so sad holidays are over.





















Those are a couple of photos from a while ago when me, Ashley and Mikki went down to the beach and picked flowers. It was a really nice afternoon and I got the coolest photos of it on my film camera which I'll show you when I develop them.

I have a whole lot of new ins to catch you up on too which I'll do ASAP.
In the meanwhile, here's my favorite sleeping song. I really want to sleep right now but I have to finish this essay. Ughh.
